Table Manners

A round of fixes for things players hit in real matches.

Fixed

  • Draw stacking and jump-in now change the colour. When you stacked a +2 of a different colour on a +2, or jumped in with a card of another colour, the table kept the old colour. You could not play a card of the new colour. The server now sets the colour from the card that wins the stack or the jump-in.
  • A 7 or 0 as your last card now ends the match. The effect of a card now happens before the win is checked. When you play a 7 or a 0 as your last card, the player who receives your empty hand wins. Before, that player drew a card and the match went on.
  • Take a draw stack with one tap. When a draw stack comes to you, the top card of the draw pile now pulses. One tap on the pile takes the cards. You no longer wait for the timer to run out.
  • You can stack a +4 on a +2. A +4 can answer a +2 stack and a +2 can answer a +4. Before, the +4 stayed dimmed in your hand.
  • Click the cards to pick a target. The fan of cards next to an opponent now picks them, like their avatar does.
  • “Choose a target” no longer covers the opponents. The banner sat over the players you had to pick. It now sits lower on the screen.
  • Matches can start again after a player leaves. When a player left a match and a bot took their seat, the lobby could be left with only bots and a match that never ended. That blocked every new start with “match already started”. The lobby now ends a match when no human is left.
  • No more music player on phones. On some Android phones the game music appeared in the notification shade with a seek bar. Phones now play music without that player. Desktop is unchanged.
  • Large phones use the mobile layout. The layout was chosen by screen width alone, so a big phone held sideways could get the desktop layout. It now looks at the shorter side of the screen.

Thanks to everyone who reported these.
