Privacy and Analytics
What UNI records, why, and what it does not do with it.
The short version
UNI collects as little as it can. I do not sell your data, and I do not build a profile of you.
Playing as a guest
You can play without an account. A guest session keeps a temporary name and a session cookie, and nothing else.
If you register
An account stores a username, an email address and a hashed password. I use the email to verify the account and, rarely, to reach you about the service. Passwords are stored as hashes, never in plain text.
Gameplay analytics
I use Google Analytics 4 to record aggregate gameplay events: match start and end, cards played, screens viewed, and errors. These events carry no chat messages, no personal details and no precise location. I read them to see what works and what breaks, not to follow individual people.
Cookies
A session cookie keeps you logged in. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for measurement.
Ads
UNI shows no ads.
What I do not do
No selling data. No cross-site tracking of my own. No reading your chat to profile you. No sharing your email with third parties for marketing.
Your choices
Play as a guest, block cookies in your browser, or ask me to delete your account and its data.
Deletion
To delete an account, write to inquiries@playuni.app and I will remove it and its stats.
Children
UNI is not directed at children under 13.
